Yes, knowing the astrological cycles makes it so much easier to remember when historical events took place (and knowing when historical events took place makes it easier to remember astrological cycles -- great feedback loop!). I thought I had an advantage in high school US history from living in a neighborhood where the streets were named after the US presidents in order. I did not know anything about astrology then, but that's even better!
